Enugu State NANS Shares Sanitizer, facemask while educating Residents on ways to stay Safe amid CoronaVirus

Enugu State - Students in the state under the auspices of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have joined in the call for contribution to secure the state over Coronavirus.

The NANS (Enugu Chapter) first set a move and support operations by sensitizing citizens over Coronavirus.

The groups shared Facemasks, sanitizers washing powder and so on to help people who don't have the money to afford that to the residents of Enugu state and indigenes of Enugu, Under the office of NANS through the JCC chairman led by Comr. Ogene Romanus and the NANS Zone B, Deputy coordinator Comr. Ukwuegbe Darlington in collaboration with Fountain care.

He moved forward to say that the groups are working with suppliers already. We hope to get our hands on a lot of hand sanitizer for people who really need it."

According to the NANS Chairman (Enugu Chapter). He said it is a way of helping people and Nigerian Youth at large. And showing them the love the association has for them.

The association said that they are prepared to support the state over COVID-19 measures that will help the state respond to the immediate health consequences of the pandemic.

“The chairman said that the association is taking broad fast action to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and we already have health response operations moving forward in over the local government in the state.”

He said our teams remain focused on state-level and regional solutions to address the ongoing crisis.” dedicated, fast-track facility for COVID-19 (coronavirus) response.

The program will aim to shorten the time to recovery, create conditions for growth, support small and medium enterprises, and help protect the poor and vulnerable. There will be a strong poverty focus in these operations, with an emphasis on policy-based financing, and protecting the poorest households and the environment.

The groups said, because of the coronavirus outbreak people are more able to relate to the idea of not being able to get items they needed.

"This is the first time lots of us have looked at shelves and thought actually they need something and they can't have it, and so they're better able to relate to people living in poverty who feel like that quite a lot of the time.

"I think it's really important in times of crisis when people are doing something positive it does make you feel a little bit calmer and more in control. It certainly does me.

"I do think the act of giving just makes us feel better. It feels as though we're doing something, we're part of a collective effort."

I commend the National Association of Nigerian students NANS(Enugu Chapter) on the good work they are doing in the state.it shows that they are patriotic to the welfare of the citizens in Enugu.

I also urged you, people, to continue in the same spirit and make sure that things are done right in this state.

I write to implore other NANS in other states, to emulate NANS

(Enugu Chapter) on their good work, they have started and that they should try and do the same in their various states.
