A Ghanaian Dad has been arrested by the police for beating his 3-year-old son, for bedwetting and being rude. Ebenezer Nana Bonsu, a 26- year old man brutalized the body of his son using a naked wire and a cane. According to the press, Ebenezer and his wife does not live together. The little boy lived with his mum until in April when she took him to his dad to spend time with his dad and also celebrate his birthday. The persistent abuse, the boy suffered in the hands of his dad made one of their neighbors to call her mum who came as soon as possible to take her child. Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday night confirmed 220 new cases of COVID-19 in the country and a total of 17 deaths in the last 24 hours. Lagos recorded 62 new cases, While Abuja recorded 52 new cases, Newswatch reports. The spread of the virus in Kaduna was high as the state recorded 31 new cases. Sokoto recorded 13 new cases while Kebbi state has 10 new cases, NCDC also announced 9 new cases in Yobe State. Borno state recorded 6 new cases as Edo and Bauchi states recorded 5 new cases respectively. Oyo, Gombe, and Enugu recorded a total of four cases each, and Zamfara state got three new cases. Nasarawa, Osun, Ebonyi, Kwara, Kano, and Plateau states all recorded 2 new cases according to the NCDC. In total, Nigeria has now confirmed 2388 cases of COVID19, discharged 385 persons, while 85 persons have died of the virus
